Carpet tiles through a corridor at the Brighton Centre

Commercial flooring

Finished on time, on budget, every time

Venues, hotels, offices, schools and healthcare. Carpet tiles, safety vinyl, nosings and acoustic panelling, from the team the Brighton Centre has kept on for two years.

Why it matters

When the floor is late, the event does not happen

For a venue, a flooring contractor who goes missing halfway through is not an inconvenience. It is a cancelled show.

If we are doing a pop show and the floor is not ready for 5,000 people to come in, you are talking of over a quarter of a million pound case against us through insurance. If you cannot trust your contractors to get the jobs done when they need to be done, I do not use them.

Case study

The Brighton Centre

A building that brings around £60 million a year into the local economy. Ian came to us after problems with costings, contractors not turning up, and work not done as asked. Every time we finish a job there, the next one is lined up.

On site at the Brighton Centre

A floor lives or dies in the bits most people do not think about

We just floored the Brighton Centre

Corridors, toilets, auditorium and the VIP entrance.

Why most commercial floors look cheap

Look at the edges. That is where it was rushed.

The Brighton Centre keeps ringing us back

Turn up when you said, finish when you said.

Your toilets are costing you reviews

Why the washrooms matter as much as the foyer.

Your floor is the first thing they judge

What guests notice before anything else.

East Sussex venue owners, this is for you

How we work around your events.

Why I am still on site every day

Hours of cutting to set a logo into a floor.

Ian Hardy, on film

Two years of work, in the client's words

“I used five teams before this. They win all our tenders.”
Ian HardyWhy Judge win the work
“We were having problems with costings, people not turning up, people not doing what we asked.”
Ian HardyWhy he reached out
“We have had rooms that looked absolutely pants. Working together, we have changed so many areas to look so much better.”
Ian HardyCouldn't be happier
“You actually help and design parts of the job, which brings stuff no one else would have thought of.”

Let us look at the floor before anyone quotes it

The site survey is free. Steve comes out, lifts a corner if he needs to, and tells you what is actually going on underneath. Then you get a quote with every line in it.
